Hearing outcome for Special Constable Daniel Palomar
Special Constable Daniel Palomar, based at the North East Command Unit, answered allegations that his conduct amounted to three breaches of the Standards of Professional Behaviour, in respect of:
• Honesty & Integrity
It was alleged that between March 2018 and June 2019 on more than one hundred occasions, MSC Palomar applied for and received expenses payments for food, drink and mileage when he knew or ought to have known that he was not entitled to such expenses payments.
It was alleged that in doing so Special Constable Palomar had breached the Standards of Professional Behaviour in respect of Honesty & Integrity.
The outcome decision was dismissal without notice. All allegations were found proven.
The hearing started on Wednesday 2 June 2021 and lasted for three days. The identity of victims/witnesses was protected during the hearing as appropriate.
